St. Maarten PRIDE Foundation consists of an active and outspoken group of volunteers.
The Foundation is involved with educational environmental awareness programs for the youth and school students by  regularly organizing  community  based hands-on beach cleanups.
PRIDE Foundation also helps organize and facilitates neighborhood cleanup activities with community councils.

Sint Maarten PRIDE Foundation is the local coordinator of the Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup.

The Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup is the largest and most successful worldwide volunteer event of it's kind. Thousands of volunteers from around the globe clear trash along Seashores, riverbeds, lakes, wetlands and beaches.
